HPC HELP with free pizza lunch
Dates & Times: Friday, April 22, 2016, 206 Durham from 12:30 to 4:00.
Purpose: Provide help for users of the CyEnce, Condo and student clusters. The following are some examples of the help provided:
1.Logging onto a machine and setting up work and tmp directories.
2.Using xterm to allow the use of performance and debugging tools.
3.Copying files from external machines to ITS machines using the data transfer node.
4.Porting applications to CyEnce and Condo.
5.Installation of software.
6.Using Allinea’s DDT debugger.
7.Debugging programs.
8.Using Allinea’s MAP performance tool.
9.Optimizing programs.
Requirements:
1.Must have an account on CyEnce, Condo and/or the Student Cluster
2.Bring your laptop.
3.Attendance is limited to 45.
